Our Luxury Washable Matting is designed to provide reliable protection for entrances, hallways, kitchens, utility rooms, and other indoor spaces. Manufactured from high-quality 100% polyester, this matting combines excellent absorbency with long-lasting durability, making it ideal for everyday residential use.

The soft-touch surface offers a comfortable feel underfoot while remaining gentle on hard flooring surfaces. Designed to help trap dirt, dust, and moisture at the door, the matting helps keep surrounding floors cleaner and drier throughout the day. Its washable gel backing provides excellent grip and stability while remaining flexible and waterproof for added practicality.

At approximately 9mm thick, Comfort Washable Matting provides a cushioned and comfortable walking surface while still fitting beneath most doorways without causing obstruction. The matting can also be easily cut to size using a Stanley knife, making it suitable for custom areas, mat wells, entrances, and utility spaces.

Designed for convenience and long-term use, the matting is fully machine washable at 30 degrees, helping maintain a fresh, clean appearance with minimal maintenance. For day-to-day cleaning, the mat can also be vacuumed, brushed, or shaken out as required.

HOW WE CUT YOUR WASHABLE MATTING

To cut your custom sized washable matting, we use large rolls of matting. This allows us to cater to a wide range of sizes and dimensions. We take great care in our cutting process. We start by cutting the matting from the roll in a slightly larger size than that needed. Then, we trim it to your specific dimensions by hand with a Stanley knife using a 90-degree metal square. When it comes to the matting, all cuts will feature square corners and raw edges.

To order your custom sized matting you need to select a matting colour. Once you have a colour, enter your required dimensions.

If you are located on a UK island or in Northern Ireland, delivery may take up to 7 working days. 1: When making a purchase of a mat for a mat well, taking accurate measurements of the well’s dimensions is crucial. Discrepancies in widths or lengths can occur in different places in the well. Make sure to measure in multiple areas. Inaccurately measuring the well may result in an ill-fitting mat. To mitigate this, you can err on the side of caution and opt for a slightly larger size when placing your order. In the event of any excess matting, use a Stanley knife to trim the mat to a precise fit, ensuring optimal coverage and functionality.

2: The key consideration when choosing the thickness of your doormat is to ensure that it allows for sufficient door clearance. If the doormat is too thick, it could potentially hinder the opening and closing of your door. Therefore, when making your selection, be mindful of this potential issue. It can avoid any inconvenience or restrictions in the functionality of your doorway.
